Live Labs 2025

On the evenings of the 26th November and 10th December 2025, science came to life in the Warwick Arts Centre foyer at another wonderful year of Live Labs! We got hands-on with lots of fun demonstrations and exciting activities from our very own Warwick staff and students before more scientific fun took centre-stage at the Warwick Christmas Lectures organised by the Department of Physics, Warwick Arts Centre and China Plate Theatre.

Reflecting on Rewind’s Pathways to the Past: Making Local History Accessible

On 11 October 2025, student-led history platform Rewind celebrated the success of its first project, Pathways to the Past, with a showcase and discussion event at the Chapter House Cinema in Coventry. Led entirely by students, the project explored how creative storytelling can bring local heritage to life, in print, online, and on film.

Breaking Containment Public Lab

On 10th June 2025, Global Sustainable Development at the University of Warwick hosted a public lab of creative practice at the Faculty of Arts Building, funded by HRC, WIE and SCFS. Led by Dr Wes Lin, the initiative of Breaking Containment public lab brought together the general public to engage with global challenges and artistic practice, exploring how we might reimagine sustainability.
