As part of the Warwick Institute of Engagement (WIE) Events & Activities Fund, Muhammad Farooq Shaikh recently delivered a free online awareness webinar in Pakistan, titled "AI-Powered Early Identification of Learning Difficulties in Children."

An evening of talks and discussion brought together University of Warwick academics, exhibition curator and artist Hardish Virk, and members of the public at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in Coventry on Tuesday 5 May 2026, as part of the Resonate Festival.

On Tuesday 14 April, we returned to 1 Mill Street in Leamington Spa for an evening of discussion on why people are at the heart of imagining a more sustainable future.

We heard from four brilliant speakers from University of Warwick, who’s topics explored the role of culture, creativity and community in shaping a world where people and the planet can thrive together.

On Thursday 19th February, Resonate headed to Cheylesmore Community Centre for Science Night!, an evening of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)-filled fun for 11-17 year olds.

On the evenings of the 26th November and 10th December 2025, science came to life in the Warwick Arts Centre foyer at another wonderful year of Live Labs! We got hands-on with lots of fun demonstrations and exciting activities from our very own Warwick staff and students before more scientific fun took centre-stage at the Warwick Christmas Lectures organised by the Department of Physics, Warwick Arts Centre and China Plate Theatre.

On Thursday 23^rd October, we spent the evening at the Warwick Arts Centre exploring the question – what does it mean to get older?

On 11 October 2025, student-led history platform Rewind celebrated the success of its first project, Pathways to the Past, with a showcase and discussion event at the Chapter House Cinema in Coventry. Led entirely by students, the project explored how creative storytelling can bring local heritage to life, in print, online, and on film.

On 10th June 2025, Global Sustainable Development at the University of Warwick hosted a public lab of creative practice at the Faculty of Arts Building, funded by HRC, WIE and SCFS. Led by Dr Wes Lin, the initiative of Breaking Containment public lab brought together the general public to engage with global challenges and artistic practice, exploring how we might reimagine sustainability.

On Saturday 28 June, Resonate was proud to support Coventry Cultural Education Partnership’s event, the Booknic Festival!

Coventry based potter Vithu Karunakaran and PhD researcher Shavena Vigneswara Kumar came together to collaborate on a creative workshop series exploring history and heritage with members of the University of Warwick Tamil students’ society.

On the 29 May 2025, Warwick District Council welcomed us to Leamington Town Hall for an exciting Resonate Late about Women in Politics, Past & Present.

On Sunday 11th May, our celebration of the University of Warwick’s 60th anniversary sparked curiosity, creativity and collaboration with visitors from across our region!

On 13 March 2025, Dr Nighat Arif and researchers from The University of Warwick’s Women’s Health Mission came together to share insights into women’s health. We were in the B2 Studio at the Belgrade Theatre in central Coventry, and almost 100 attendees joined us for an evening of accessible science and fascinating new discoveries.

On the evenings of the 25th November and 2nd December, we filled the Warwick Arts Centre foyer with scientific activities and demonstrations from staff and students at the University of Warwick at the Live labs! We got our hands on lots of different science happening around the university before seeing it on the stage at the Warwick Christmas lectures, organised by the department of physics.

On Saturday 30 November we headed to the Royal Priors shopping centre in Leamington Spa to showcase undergraduate student research and public engagement skills.

On Saturday 26th October, we travelled to Leamington Spa and filled the library, gallery and museum of the Royal Pump Rooms with lots of fun activities and demonstrations for the Resonate Festival of Social Science Day Out - part of the ESRC Festival of Social Science.

The theme for this year’s ESRC Festival of Social Science was ‘Our Digital Lives’, and we decided to explore some of the impacts of growing digitalisation at our Resonate Late, ‘It’s All Digital’.
