Our Resonate Pledge for 2026-2027

We’ve had another year packed with lots of exciting events and fun activities!

We ran our largest-scale Summer Festival on the University of Warwick campus, organised an evening of exciting scientific exploration, an artistic take on sustainability, shared stories of South Asian heritage and lots more. We’ve learned so much, heard from so many brilliant people and explored some amazing University of Warwick research along the way.

Between August 2025-26, we welcomed over 2700, members of our Resonate community to our events. We also worked with hundreds of students and staff from the University, and dozens of community partners. A huge thank you to everyone who got involved, and to you, our Resonate community, for coming along on the journey with us! Stay tuned over the coming year, as we’ll have plenty more opportunities that are sure to spark your curiosity.

Last Year’s Resonate Pledge

Last year, we made our second Resonate Pledge for 2025-2026. Here’s how we’ve worked towards our goals shaped by your feedback:

We’ll begin new programming for all ages, with a particular focus on activity for those aged under 5 and 11-17 years old

• We organised our very first under 5’s zone in the Warwick Arts Centre during our Summer Festival, including toddler rhyme time and musical storytelling activities.

• We ran a science night at a local community centre specifically designed for ages 11 -17.

We’ll make it easier to navigate the University of Warwick Campus with improved signage around events

• We’ve improved signposting for our colour coded ‘activity zones’ at our on-campus festival.

• We created a pocket guide for our summer festival to help you find activities more easily.

• We created our very first Resonate Social Story for our summer festival to help you get the best experience out of the day.

We’ll continue to build relationships with our local partners to bring more Resonate events to you in your community

• We’re continuing to work with our community partners, returning to venues across Coventry and Warwickshire, and are building new relationships and running events for the first time in local venues and areas.

We’ll continue to work on our 2025/26 pledges to you going forward, and we’re excited to share with you our new pledge for the next year.

26/27 Pledge

We’ve highlighted goals shaped by your feedback that we’ll be working towards improving throughout our 2026-27 programme.

• We’ll aim to find more ways to connect with the Resonate Community in your local area.

• We’ll continue our Shared by Resonate initiative to connect you with more free opportunities to learn about University of Warwick Research. We launched Shared by Resonate last year to help us share more exciting events from the University of Warwick with you. Keep an eye out for the Shared by Resonate logo in our newsletter and on our social channels to find out about more events near you!

• We’ll continue to improve signposting and navigation at our events.

• We’ll make information about events as clear and accessible as possible to keep improving experience before, during and after events

We’re always keen to hear how we can connect with new communities across Coventry and Warwickshire, what you’d like to see in the programme and any ideas or feedback you have.
