About Resonate

A warm welcome from the Resonate Team!

We host a year-round programme of inspiring and interactive events for all ages to spark ideas, curiosity and creativity. Taking place across Coventry and Warwickshire, we’ve organised talks, public conversations, exhibitions, film festivals, walking tours, live experiments and so much more.

The Resonate programme was originally designed by the University of Warwick to celebrate Coventry’s year as UK City of Culture. After a successful first year, Warwick’s Institute of Engagement has continued to bring to life the work of Warwick staff and students in an accessible, fun, and engaging way.

By holding events at various venues across the region and on Warwick University Campus, working collaboratively with Warwick staff, students and local partners, the Resonate programme has grown considerably.

We’ve hosted a post-apocalyptic film festival and a Women’s Suffrage walking tour. We’ve explored how viruses are transmitted using modern dance, produced plays about Chilean exiles, enjoyed medieval beer festivals and hosted creative workshops in local community centres!
