Crafting Together, Creating Forever

Dates: Saturday, 13th April 2024 and Sunday, 12th May 202

Join forces with your family to tackle exciting missions, earn points, and win cool prizes! Plus, discover the joy of art as you play together. Get ready for boundless fun and memorable moments with your loved ones!

This event welcomes all types of family.

Times:

Session ① 10:00-11:30
Session ② 13:30-15:00
The two sessions are slightly different. You can choose to join one or both.

Each session will include the following challenges:

  • Using mosaic and collage techniques, create the landscape of your dream home together with your family. Explore colour theory to enhance understanding and expression of visual perception.

  • Practice non-verbal communication to express yourself to your family and guide each other's actions. Explore body language during activities to reflect on your patterns of communication and interaction in daily life.

  • Engage in diverse media to stimulate tactile senses, then collaborate with your family to craft a heroic adventure story. Explore your role in cooperative and familial relationships.

Tickets are free but registration is required. You need to sign up as a team of at least one adult and one child (aged 6+).

This activity is run by Yu-Ting Lai, an MA student from the University of Warwick and forms part of a research project, guided by Education Studies of  University of Warwick. Before participation, a consent form will be provided on-site to ensure both you and your child are willing to take part in this research.
