Science on the Hill: Our Intrinsic Right to Healthy Food

  • Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Building Coventry, England, CV4 7AJ United Kingdom (map)

Join us for the first Science on the Hill event of 2026!

As our average dietary intake of fresh fruit and vegetables falls further from the recommended NHS guidance of “5 a day”, research at the University of Warwick is seeking to promote the production of high quality, home-grown fresh and healthy food.  Come along to find out more about the pressures for change in agriculture, on breeding better crops, keeping them pest free and healthy, and a discussion on whether or not we all have a right to healthy food options.

Doors open at 5:30pm and light refreshments will be provided. Talks begin at 6:00pm.

Please note the recommended age for this event is 14+ and all under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

This event is organised by the School of Life Sciences and Warwick Medical School and shared by Resonate.
