Healthy and Sustainable Food - Eating for a better future

Food is something central to our lives. A balanced and healthy diet is crucial to make us feel energised, happy, and active throughout the day. Yet, we can go one step further: How could a diet look like that is not only doing good to ourselves but also to our planet?

In this talk, we would like to explore the connection between healthy and sustainable eating. We will suggest some practical lifestyle changes for the benefit of our own bodies, the environment and all the people on this planet.

The talk is being given by students from a variety of departments who are taking part in our interdisciplinary public engagement module. It's an opportunity for them to practice translating research for a non-expert audience. Feel free to chat and ask questions via the comments.

This event is being designed and delivered by students from our taught Public Engagement module. They have been working on skills to develop interesting and engaging presentations that connect people to knowledge from their degree programmes.

The video goes live on Tuesday 18 January | 7pm
