Exhi-BEAN-tion

Do you love recipes from around the world and hearing the stories behind them?

Sharing the love! With recipes from around the world and the stories behind them, Exhi-BEAN-tion gets to the heart of food sustainability, supports local growers and independent businesses.

Join us for a live, online taste-a-long using the humble bean to create locally grown, international dishes.

FREE ONLINE TASTING | Sunday 5 Dec | Zoom

Four tasty dishes created using the beans developed at the University of Warwick, grown in Warwickshire, cooked in Coventry.

There are two sorts of FREE tickets available:

1.     Book (before 5pm Thursday 2 December) to collect your taster pack from Shopfront Theatre, Coventry on Sunday (12-3pm) then log on at 6pm to hear from the scientist who developed and grew these brand new varieties, chefs who have cooked with them, and discover what people around Coventry said when we asked them about beans!

OR

2.     If you can’t get into Coventry to collect a taster pack, you can still come to the online event. If you like, you can download one of the recipes if you fancy cooking it yourself.

This event is suitable for families; all dishes are vegan and clearly marked with allergy notices and full ingredient listings. Gather the family round a screen, big or small, and let’s talk about beans…

Live captioned. This event will be recorded but you can leave your camera off if you prefer.

Taster pack bean tickets available only until 5pm Thursday 2 December for collection on Sunday 5 December
