Our Fragile Space: Protecting the Near-Space Environment

  • Coventry Cathedral Ruins Priory Street Coventry, England, CV1 5RN United Kingdom (map)

Our Fragile Space: Protecting the Near-Space Environment arrives in Coventry following successful exhibitions at Lloyd’s of London and Spaceport-Cornwall. This regional run will be the first public exhibition and outdoor staging of Max Alexander’s work.

Alexander’s photographs seek to raise awareness and promote understanding of the growing threat of space debris, and highlighting the vital need to protect it, mirroring ongoing efforts to preserve our Earth environment.

Our Fragile Space demonstrates the societal benefits of space and the impact of space debris on the near-space environment following decades of space exploration. The exhibition offers  a unique opportunity to see first-hand the impact of the increasing amount of space debris that crowds our skies.

After seeing these images, your relationship with near space will never be the same again.

This event is free to attend, and no booking is required. Visit the Coventry Cathedral and Our Fragile Space pages to find out more about the exhibition, the project, and the people involved. There are also free educational resources to download.
